Hiiiiiiiii fam!

If you’ve been following me on IG & FB, you probably noticed the shift in my content from adoptive parent educating to deconstructing messages from purity culture.

Since the end of my marriage in 2018, I’ve really focused on figuring out how in the world we got to divorce. Just HOW?

We did all the “right” things & checked all the “right boxes” and really sought Jesus with everything we were.

And yet.

Through the last 3 years I’ve been on a journey of getting as honest as possible, allowing myself to make decisions for myself, making mistakes, finding healing.

I’ve come to a place where it is clear as day to me that the teachings from evangelical purity culture not only groomed both of us for abuse + a really dysfunctional marriage, but soooooo many other people!

I’ve been unraveling, untwisting, deconstructing ideas + notions + messages I was taught and I taught.

So!

I’m inviting you into this very personal journey.
