I was beyond thrilled to see Promptly Journals announce that they were releasing an adoption journal.

I knew they had an awesome 0-18 years old journal for biological children, but they recently added an adoption-18 years old journal and I cannot be more thrilled with it.

We initially started with the very cute, and still recommendable, My Family My Journey adoption baby book for our son who was adopted and a simple (frankly it was boring and lame) baby book for our biological son. But the moment I learned of the Promptly Adoption Journals, I knew I needed one of each so I could have matching/similar baby books for my boys!

These journals are already so cherished!

Every Monday we head downtown and grab some coffee at Powells Book Store. I now bring these sweet little keep sake journals and spend some time writing in them each week as Loren paroozes the books and one of the babies sleep on me while the other is hanging with dad.

If you are an adoptive family, a biological family, or a big mixture of both, I highly recommend the Promptly Journals! They are sweet, simple, and document important information your child will feel loved knowing one day.

This would be an AWESOME Christmas gift or any family members with little ones or who are expecting to add to their family soon. I would have LOVED to get these last Christmas as a hopeful adoptive mama and as a pregnant mama.

Even though I got these after both of my children were added to our family (they are 5 and 10 months), I was able to go back into my own personal journal from when I was pregnant and adopting and copy some of the entries and details into their journals. And thanks to social media, I could write down a lot of really sweet memories I want to cherish forever.
