Complaining falls right into line with nagging. It also is the opposite if choosing gratefulness and joy. Complaining is a monster and I can be way too good at letting that monster destroy joy!

When we complain, we are telling our husbands we are dissatisfied, we are telling Jesus he hasn't given us enough.
It's easy to complain. It takes no self control or discipline. So today I will actively pray for strength to choose joy and in that, not complain. I won't complain about the rain, about our lack of Lara bars, or about Loren reading before bed. What do you complain about? Let's bite this habit in the bud by creating a new habit of choosing joy, of not nagging, and not complaining.
